Meet the Assistant Principal of Southview Elementary School
Hello Southview Families,
My name is Sharetta Watkins, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal of Southview Elementary School. As I begin my third year in this role and my twenty-third year in education, I remain deeply committed to fostering a school environment where every child is encouraged to grow both academically and personally.
With 19 years of experience as a classroom teacher and one year as an instructional coach, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside students and educators through many stages of learning. I believe that academic excellence must be paired with strong character development. At Southview, we aim to nurture students who are not only knowledgeable, but also kind, respectful, and responsible citizens.
It is truly a joy to partner with our families and staff in support of our students. I look forward to another year of learning, growing, and celebrating success—together.
