Librarian

Greetings! I am Mrs. Manieri, Southview Elementary’s Library Media Specialist. I am a follower of Christ, wife, mother, and lover of books! I am married to a supportive, loving husband (Ryan) and I have one fun, energetic daughter (Samantha). I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2008 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and the University of West Alabama in 2012 with a Masters in Library Media. I worked with the Tuscaloosa County School System for 8 years as a 2nd-5th grade classroom teacher. In 2016, I worked overseas as an English Consultant. This is my first year with the Tuscaloosa City School System and at Southview Elementary. I enjoy all that I am learning this year as the Media Specialist and the partnership with the faculty and staff of Southview. I relish fostering a love for literacy in our future leaders of the world!
